of Darien has announced that the interim status was removed from the title of
construction division Group President Patrick Cermak. Kenneth
Osmun was promoted to vice president and chief operations officer from
vice president of operations. Wight provides architecture, construction and engineering
services. .
Edward Kraemer & Sons of Plain, Wis., announced Scott
Peterson was named president and replaces David Kraemer, who will continue
as CEO and chairman. Peterson was previously executive vice president and chief
financial officer. Jean Bergman was promoted to
vice president and chief financial officer from vice president and assistant chief
financial officer. Kraemer is a general contractor and construction aggregates
supplier. 
BSA LifeStructures. of Indianapolis has announced the promotions of three
to senior associate: Mark Abbey, Keith Mershon and Jim
Schellenberger. Abbey is a project architect, Mershon is an engineering
project coordinator and Schellenberger is a civil engineer. Four employees were
promoted to associate principal: Brett Bonenberger, Daniel
Miles, Andrew Myers and Thomas Truesdale. Bonenberger is the chief information
officer, Miles and Myers are mechanical engineers and Truesdale is contract manager.

Peter Schlossman, senior associate principal
of Chicago-based Loebl Schlossman & Hackl,
has begun his term as president elect of the American Institute of Architects/AIA
Chicago.

was promoted to project executive in Milwaukee from senior project manager. Mark
Stanhope was named safety engineer, also in Milwaukee. He was previously
a divisional safety representative with Rockford-based Area Erectors. Mortenson

Carlson has become a part owner of Milwaukee-based
KBS Construction Inc. He came to the company as senior vice president and
chief financial officer. KBS is a general contractor. 
Kevin
Hickman was named business development/marketing manager of Lake Geneva-based
Crispell-Snyder Inc. He was previously marketing
director of Janesville-based J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc. Crispell-Snyder provides
planning, design and construction services. 
STS Consultants Ltd. of Vernon Hills
has announced the promotions of three employees to senior principal,
Bill Walton, Bill Weaver and Jeanne Tarvin. Walton is senior principal
engineer in the Chicago region office, Weaver is senior principal engineer and
vice president, also in Chicago, and Tarvin is senior principal hydrogeologist
in the Milwaukee region office. STS is an engineering consulting firm.

Construction Co. of Neenah, Wis., has named Jack
Michler and Ken Wasemiller project executives. Michler was previously senior
project manager with Milwaukee-based KBS Construction Inc., and Wasemiller was
previously a project manager with Madison-based Marshall Erdman & Associates.

Schmidt Inc. of Milwaukee has announced the promotions of Nicole
Barham to manager of support services from project manager, Matt
Bruggink to project manager from assistant project manager and Jerrod
Wolf to project engineer from laborer. Steve Gilbert
was named project manager. He was previously an employee of Indianapolis-based
S&B Construction. Schmidt is a general contractor. 
Hanson
Professional Services Inc. of Springfield has announced Darin
Koelm was named civil engineer and Thomas Coughenour
was named senior engineering technician, each in the Indianapolis office. Koelm
was previously a civil engineer with the Illinois Department of Transportation,
and Coughenour was previously a senior engineering technician with R.W. Armstrong
in Indianapolis. Hanson provides architectural and engineering services.

Jelen was named a project manager in the Milwaukee office of Providence,
R.I.-based Gilbane. He was previously a project
manager with Schaumburg-based Power Construction Co. Gilbane provides construction

senior vice president for Minneapolis-based US Bank Corporate Real Estate. Irgens

Corp. as a project manager. He was previously project manager with Inter-Continental

Davis was named a project architect in Indianapolis of Evansville-based
Veazey Parrott Durkin & Shoulders. She was previously a capital projects

Architects Inc., has earned the title of registered roof consultant from
the Roof Consultants Institute in Raleigh, N.C. He qualified for the designation
by meeting requirements on education, ethics and experience and passed an examination.
