Mark Luetkehans was named vice president of Westmont-based Paul H. Schwendener Inc. He was previously vice president of Park Ridge-based Ragnar Benson Inc. Schwendener is a general contractor.

Thomas Weinmann adds to his responsibilities by becoming manager of the Structural and Transportation Laboratory of Skokie-based CTLGroup. He continues as manager of the Sensors and Structural Diagnostics Group. CTLGroup provides engineering and construction technology consulting.

STS Consultants Ltd. of Vernon Hills recently announced four promotions: Bernie Hertlein, to principal scientist from associate scientist; David Drew, to principal engineer from associate; Ivan Martysz to senior project engineer from project engineer; and Tyler Hall, to assistant project engineer and laboratory supervisor from engineering technician. Robert Suda was named associate hydrogeologist and environmental scientist. He was previously senior project and program manager and operations quality control manager of Broomfield, Colo.-based MWH. STS Consultants is an engineering consulting firm.

Marc Deneau was promoted to vice president of business development of Hickory Hills-based Henry Bros. Co. He was previously director of business development. Henry is a general contractor.

Dewey Pearman, executive director of the Portage, Ind.-based Construction Advancement Fund, was elected to the board of directors of the NEA - The Association of Union Constructors, a nationwide association in Arlington, Va., of union contractors, local employer's organizations, industrial maintenance contractors and industry suppliers. The CAF promotes the union construction industry of Northwest Indiana.

M.A. Mortenson Co.of Minneapolis has announced three additions to its Milwaukee office: Dave Mangan was named superintendent, Joe Krueger was named assistant project manager and Charlie Eads was named project engineer. Mangan was previously senior project manager of West Allis-based Vista Design and Construction, Krueger was previously assistant project manager of Butler, Wis.-based Berghammer Construction Corp. and Eads was previously project manager and estimator for Antioch, Ill.-based Thelen Sand & Gravel Inc. Mortenson is a general contractor.

Mary Jo Graf was named vice president of business development in the Chicago office of Boston-based Cubellis Associates. She was previously director of marketing in the Corporate Interiors practice of Chicago-based OWP/P. Cubellis is an architecture, interior design and engineering firm.

Terry Krause was named director of business development of Chicago-based Berglund Construction. He was previously national manager of Turner Sports and Public Assembly Group in Arlington, Va. Berglund provides general contracting, facade restoration and other services.

DeStefano + Partners of Chicago has announced the following architects were promoted to associate status: Anthony Belsley, Patrick Branagan and David Genc. Also promoted to associate were Specifications Writer Dennis Blaul and Interior Architect Terisia Wernett. DeStefano provides architecture, interior design and other services.

Robert Stelter, chief operating officer of Milwaukee-based The Bentley Co. , was inducted into the Zeta IV Chapter of the Sigma Lambda Chi National Construction Society Construction Management Program at the Milwaukee School of Engineering as a Chapter Honorary Industry Member. The honor is given in recognition of special service to the chapter and the construction industry.

OWP/P of Chicago has announced six employees were promoted to senior associate from associate: Susan Boeman, Stephen Citari, Frank Gartner, Jim Nowak, Mayu Roy and Angeline Schaefer. OWP/P is a design firm.

Jim Shields was promoted to vice president of Minneapolis-based HGA Architects and Engineers. Shields, who is based in Milwaukee, was previously associate vice president. HGA is a design firm.

Robert Fenlon was promoted to project executive in Milwaukee of Providence, R.I.-based Gilbane Building Co. He was previously a project manager. Gilbane is a general contractor.

Anderson Mikos Architects Ltd. of Oak Brook has announced the promotions of Mark Mazibrook to senior project architect from project architect, Leslie Rospert to senior project architect/senior interior designer from project architect/interior design and Henri LamBeau to project architect from architect III. Anderson offers health care architecture and interior design.

Andy Zaletel was named geographical information systems manager of Crystal Lake-based Baxter & Woodman Inc. Consulting Engineers. He was previously GIS coordinator for the city of St. Charles. Baxter is an engineering consulting firm.

McShane Construction Corp. of Rosemont has promoted Thomas Beres to project engineer II from project engineer I. Zachary Smrt was named project engineer, and Scott Engstrom was named project estimator. Smrt was previously an associate with Novotny Concrete Construction Co. in LaGrange Park, and Engstrom was previously project manager of Oak Brook-based Ameresco Inc. McShane offers design-build services.

V3 Cos. of Woodridge has announced Paul Grassly and Richard Kipp were named shareholders and Louis Gallucci principal. Grassly is a project manager in the Land Development Division, Kipp is a senior project manager in the same division and Gallucci is director of construction services. V3 is an environmental consulting firm.

Warren Seil was named project director of Westmont-based Morgan/Harbour Construction. He was a manager with Elgin-based IHC Construction Cos. LLC. Morgan/Harbour is a design-build and construction management company.

Company News

Aecom of Los Angeles, parent of Chicago-based McClier, has merged McClier's operations with Cleveland-based Austin Co.'s U.S. Midwest and U.S. Southwest divisions. The merged organization employs more than 350 people in Chicago.

.

Eppstein Uhen Architects of Milwaukee has announced it will open a Madison office. Steve Holzhauer, a principal, was named to manage the office.

R.A. Smith & Associates Inc. of Brookfield, Wis., has opened an office in Appleton at 2901 E. Enterprise Ave. Smith is a civil engineering, planning, surveying and technical services consulting firm.
