HIRES

Tony Comella was named vice president, principal and director of human resources of Springfield-based Hanson Professional Services Inc. He was previously assistant director of The Leadership Development Center at Bradley University and marketing director of Bradley's Foster College of Business Administration. Hanson provides architectural and engineering services.

Martin Schaper was named vice president of project accounting and cost control
of St. Louis-based Alberici Group. He was previously vice president and controller
of St. Louis-based Fru-Con Construction. Alberici provides construction services.

Adam Moore was named vice president of Oak Brook-based Krusinski Construction Co. He was previously director of Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago. Krusinski is
a general contractor.

Bill Peel was named chief development officer of Madison, Wis.-based
Marshall Erdman & Associates
. He was previously executive vice president
and chief operations officer of Houston-based MetroNational. Erdman designs
and builds health care facilities.

Pepper Construction Co. of Chicago has announced it has hired Chet Busse as senior project manager and Phil Larsen as project manager. Both were previously project managers of Schaumburg-based Pritscher & Erbach Inc. Pepper is a
general contractor.

Stan Heidemann was named preconstruction manager of Homewood-based Graycor. He was previously president/general manager of Park Ridge-based
Ragnar Benson Inc. Graycor is a general contractor.

Ian Yi-Ming Lan was named structural engineer of Chicago-based Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. He was previously civil/structural engineer with Lin Engineering Ltd.in Springfield and Chicago. Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. is an engineering firm.

J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc. of Janesville has announced the additions of Joe Martino
as project manager, Lisa Gabrielson as project engineer and Jared Schultz as estimator. Martino was previously in territory sales for Ingersoll Rand in Madison,
Wis., and Gabrielson and Schultz were previously students. Cullen is a general contractor.

Kozeny-Wagner Inc. of Arnold, Mo., has announced the appointment of three project managers, Stephen Coleman, Matt Gardner and David Stokes. Coleman was previously project manager of St. Louis-based K&S Associates, Gardner was previously project manager of Eureka, Mo.-based Gershenson Construction Co. Inc. and Stokes was previously project manager of St. Louis-based United Construction. Kozeny-Wagner is a general contractor.

Hard Hat Services Inc. of Naperville has announced the additions of Jill Bennett as project manager in St. Louis, Jan Lippman as marketing coordinator in Naperville and Laura Swan as project geologist, also in Naperville. Bennett was previously project manager in Denver for Washington Group International, Lippman was previously account executive in Naperville with McElroy Associates and Swan was previously geologist in St. Charles, Ill., with Shaw Environmental. Hard Hat is a general contractor.

Michael Bradley was named manager of Madison, Wis.-based Ayres Associates.
He transferred from the firm's Rochester, Minn., office. Ayres is an engineering
and architectural firm.

Brian Herold was named financial manager of Downers Grove-based
Peak Construction Corp
. He was previously a financial accounting and asset manager of Downers Grove-based Janko Financial Group. Peak provides
design-build and construction management services.

PROMOTIONS

Gary Vance was advanced to principal of Indianapolis-based BSA LifeStructures.
He is director of facility consulting. BSA is an architecture firm.

Mark Lillesand was promoted to senior project manager of Milwaukee-based
CG Schmidt
. He was previously project manager. Schmidt is a general contractor.

Brian Hirsch was advanced to senior project manager of construction operations of Indianapolis-based Lauth Property Group. He was previously project manager.
Lauth provides development and contracting services.

VJS Construction Services of Pewaukee, Wis., has announced the promotions of Alex Ditrich and Kevin King each to senior project manager. Both were previously project managers. VJS is a general contractor.

HONORS AND APPOINTMENTS

Hanson Professional Services Inc. of Springfield has appointed four market principals in the Midwest: Vice President James Messmore in the transportation
and toll highways markets; Vice President Jeffery Ball in the local government
market; Tracy Lundin in the energy and industry markets; and Executive Vice President John Coombe in the aviation market. Hanson provides architectural
and engineering services.

IE Consultants Inc. of Springfield has announced David Booher was appointed president and chairman of the board of directors and will continue to serve as chief structural engineer. Michael Miller was appointed to the company's board of directors and will continue as chief of surveys. IE Consultants provides civil and structural engineering and land surveying.

Harmon Inc. of Golden Prairie, Minn., has announced the promotions in Chicago of Brian Buffa and Sean Murphy, each to project manager. Buffa was previously project coordinator, and Murphy was previously customer service representative and estimator. Harmon provides glass services.
