HIRES

Loebl Schlossman & Hackl of Chicago has announced Brandon Lipman was named design principal and Gary Bell was named project director and interior designer. Lipman was previously senior vice president and lead project designer for Chicago-based VOA Associates, and Bell was previously director in Chicago of Indianapolis-based BSA LifeStructures and Maregatti Interiors. Loebl Schlossman is a design firm.

William Niehoff was named director of business development of St. Louis-based Paric. He was previously vice president for residuals of O’Fallon, Mo.-based Environmental Management Corp. Paric is a contractor.

Jim Nagle was named project director in the construction department of Darien-based Wight & Co. He was previously construction manager with Elliot Construction Corp. in Glen Ellyn. Wight provides design-build services.

Burns & McDonnell of Kansas City, Mo., has announced the hires in St. Louis of Julian Meneses as senior electrical engineer; Timothy Schroeder as senior mechanical engineer; Erin Leer as process engineer; and Antonio Johnson as assistant electrical engineer. Meneses was previously project engineer/project manager for Belle Engineering in Naperville, Schroeder was previously senior thermal design engineer for Nooter/Eriksen in St. Louis, Leer was previously a student and Johnson was also previously a student. Burns & McDonnell is an engineering firm.

Tom Carrano was named senior project manager of Elgin-based IHC Construction Cos. LLC. He was previously senior project manager with Gurnee-based William A. Randolph Inc. IHC is a contracting firm.

J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc. of Janesville has announced Ronald Weber and David Hahn were named project managers. Weber was previously an employer of GM in Janesville, and Hahn was previously an employee Brookfield, Wis.-based Hunzinger Construction Co. Cullen is a contractor.

Andy Hood was named project engineer in St. Louis of Kansas City, Mo.-based Walton Construction. He was previously quality control technician for Emery Sapp and Sons in Columbia, Mo. Walton is a contractor.

Ben Runkel was named associate project manager of Deerfield-based Meridian Design Build. He was previously senior construction engineer with Chicago-based F.H. Paschen. Meridian is a contractor.

Clayco of St. Louis has announced Beverly Hudson was named information management specialist and Lori Luetkenhaus was named assistant controller. Hudson was previously administrative assistant with HBE Corp. in St. Louis, and Luetkenhaus was previously senior accountant, also with HBE. Clayco provides development, design and construction services.

BSA LifeStructures of Indianapolis has announced Brett Bartholomew was named project manager, Russ Bueche was named architect and Richard Chance was named healthcare consultant. Bartholomew was previously senior project manager for Indianapolis-based Hagerman Construction Co., Bueche was previously project architect/project manager for Hannum Wagle & Cline in Indianapolis and Chance was previously tream leader of innovation & quality support services for Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Ind. BSA is a design firm.

Hard Hat Services of Naperville has announced David Johnson was named director of business development, Robert Adams was named senior project manager and Thomas Wells was named senior project engineer. Johnson was previously senior vice president of marketing, procurement and strategy of Downers Grove-based The ServiceMaster Corp.; Adams was previously senior construction manager for Vernon Hills-based STS Consultants; and Wells was previously an independent consultant. Hard Hat is a contractor.

DeLeers Construction Inc. of Green Bay has announced Joe Perry was named project manager and Jeremy Lueck was named drafter. Perry was previously a project manager with Appleton-based Boldt Construction Co., and Lueck was previously architectural designer Green Bay-based Wisconsin Log Homes. DeLeers is a contractor.

PROMOTIONS

Gilbane Building Co. of Providence, R.I., has announced the promotions in Milwaukee of Carl Anderson to chief estimator and Kevin Bredeson to director of building information modeling. Both were previously preconstruction/senior estimators. Gilbane is a contractor.

Eppstein Uhen Architects of Milwaukee promoted six to associate status: Pat Prendergast, senior project manager; Gary Durler, senior project architect; Glenn Roby, project manager; Rob Beisenstein, senior project manager; Stuart LaRose, senior project manager; and Ed Heidenreich, visual specialist. EUA is a design firm.

Bryan Rieger was advanced to project manager of Woodridge, Ill.-based V3 Cos. He was previously project engineer. V3 is an engineering firm.

Hank Bellina was named director of major accounts for St. Louis-based Arco Construction Co. He was previously project manager. Arco provides design-build services.

Jennifer Rothweil was named controller of St. Louis-based Brinkmann Constructors. She was previously assistant controller. Brinkmann is a design-build firm.

Larry Mackowiak was named executive-in-charge of construction industry services in Indianapolis for Oak Brook-based Crowe Chizek and Co. LLC. He was previously executive. Crowe Chizek is an accounting and consulting firm.

Jose Ortega was advanced to foreman of Indianapolis-based Midwest Mole Inc. He was previously lead man. Midwest Mole provides boring, tunneling and related services.

COMPANY NEWS

Alberici Constructors Inc. of St. Louis has announced it has created a combined buildings and health care unit. Dave Gough was named executive and continues to serve as leader for the health care market; J.D. Long was named market leader for the general buildings market; Rodney Burt was named vice president of building and special projects; and Steve Olson was named manager of business acquisition. Alberici is a contractor.

KJWW Engineering Consultants of Rock Island, Ill., has acquired Chicago-based EME LLC. Bob Winter was named the branch manager. KJWW provides engineering services.
