Rosalyn Ryan was named national healthcare business development director and senior associate of Chicago-based OWP/P. She was previously president of Analytical Directions Inc. in Arlington Heights. OWP/P is a design firm.

Edward Peck was named senior associate in Chicago of New York-based Thornton Tomasetti Inc. He was previously design director for Vector-Foiltec in Albany, N.Y. Thornton Tomasetti is a structural-engineering firm.

Ron Tagliapietra was named to lead wind-farm construction for Brownsville, Wis.-based Michels Corp. He continues as senior vice president. Michels is a utility contractor.

Debra Sheahan was named senior project estimator of St. Louis-based Paric. She was previously senior estimator of St. Louis-based Clayco. Paric provides design-build and construction management.

Bill Aubrey was named senior project manager of Appleton, Wis.-based Hoffman LLC. He was previously owner of Oshkosh, Wis.-based AEC LLC. Hoffman is a planning, architectural and construction-management firm.

J. P. Cullen & Sons Inc. of Janesville, Wis., has announced the additions of Gyude Allison as project manager and John Kaltenberg III as process analyst. Previously, Allison was an employee of Madison-based Kassenich’s Ltd. of America, and Kaltenberg was an employee of Symons Corp. in Elk Grove Village, Ill. J.P. Cullen is a contractor.

HOK of St. Louis announced the additions of Kristi Pearson as interior-design technician, Kevin Sexton as architectural lighting designer, Jason Wandersee as project manager and Sarah Weissman as architectural technician. Previously, Pearson was a student, Sexton was a designer for St. Louis-based Lawrence Group, Wandersee was a principal with DLK Group in Portland, Ore., and Weissman was a student. Tri-North Builders of Fitchburg, Wis., has announced the additions of David Buchanan as project estimator, Teresa Duerst as project manager and Tony Haddad as senior project manager. Previously, Buchanan was senior estimator of Planning Design Build Inc. in Madison, Duerst was project manager/estimator/designer with Christensen Construction Inc. in Fitchburg and Haddad was director of construction operations of Innovative Construction Solutions Inc in Brookfield, Wis. Opus North Corp. of Minneapolis has announced Matt Nix and Mike Yungerman were each advanced in Chicago to vice president of development from senior real estate director. Nix is in the Mixed Use division, and Yungerman is in the Industrial division. Opus is a development and contracting firm.

HONORS & APPOINTMENTS

Clyde Baker Jr., senior principal engineer with Vernon Hills-based STS/AECOM, was named recipient of the 2009 Washington Award, which is sponsored by the Western Society of Engineers in Lisle, Ill. The honor is given to an engineer whose professional attainments have advanced the welfare of humankind.

Duane Kreuger, senior project manager of St. Louis-based Geotechnology Inc., was elected vice president/president-elect of the Denver-based Association of Environmental & Estimating Geologists. Geotechnology provides geotechnical, environmental engineering and other services.

Tvsdesign of Atlanta has received the Green Design Award from the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. The honor comes from renovating the firm’s Chicago office. Tvsdesign is an architecture firm.
